Your First Visit: Step-by-Step
Your initial consultation is about discovery and planning. Here is what we will cover:
Discovery: We start by discussing your current injury, previous history of discomfort, and your personal health goals.
Assessment: Your physiotherapist will guide you through specific movements and conduct active and passive testing to confirm your diagnosis.
The Plan: We provide a clear diagnosis and a management plan, including realistic timelines and physiotherapy-specific goals tailored to you.
Treatment: If indicated, we perform hands-on therapy and provide a custom exercise program, demonstrating exactly how to perform them safely and pain-free.
Education: You will leave understanding the "why" behind your exercises, including clear instructions on sets, reps, and frequency.
Follow-up: We’ll recommend a follow-up schedule (ranging from twice weekly to monthly) to adjust your treatment as you progress and ensure you never feel "stuck" at one level.
